10/28/2003 BRENEOL, LORING JOSEPH (MIKE) - The death of Loring J. Breneol of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmer's Hospital on Monday, October 27th, 2003. "Mike" as he was commonly known was born in Woodstock, NB. He was the son of the late Clement and Dorothy (Wandless) Breneol and husband of Dorothy (Doyle) Breneol. Following his discharge from the Royal Canadian Air Force at the end of World War II, Mike obtained an Engineering Certificate from St. Francis Xavier University, and later his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the Nova Scotia Technical College in 1952. Immediately after graduation, Mike joined NB Power where he remained until his retirement in 1987. For many years, Mike had been active as a lay minister at St. Dunstan's Church. He was also a life member of the Association of Professional Engineers of the Province of New Brunswick. Mike was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Bruce of Orangeville, ON, Paul (Mary Ellen Vaughan) of Fredericton, NB, Michael (Samantha) of Grand Bay, NB; daughters Lori Breneol of Fredericton, NB, Joanne Breneol of Westfield, NB; two grandchildren, Taylor and Hannah and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Clement and John "Jack" and sister, Helen Bull. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 29th, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Thursday, October 30th, 2003 at 12:00 noon. Monsignor Brian Sheehan as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Hermitage Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.
